Villages in Val Venosta

Holiday Area Resia Pass

Resia Pass with its villages of Resia/Reschen, Curon/Graun and San Valentino/St. Valentin are located along the old Roman imperial road, the Via Claudia Augusta, on the border between Italy, Austria and Switzerland. The centre of the region is the drowned Romanesque tower that stands out from Resia Lake.
The side valleys Vallelunga/Langtaufers and Roja/Rojen have hardly been exploited for touristic purposes and remain quiet resorts for holidaymakers in search of peace and untouched nature. In winter snow is guaranteed at elevations beyond 1,400m.
If you are visiting the Val Venosta to participate or watch La Venosta, Resia Pass with its towns is the region where you should try to find accommodation as it is closest to start and finish area and the big parking space from which shuttle buses will go to start and finish area.
