The following event rules and guidelines are intended to help produce and direct a large-scale event, to ensure the safety of all participants, to meet the requirements of local government permits and to be compliant with the Italian cross-country skiing federation and the International Ski Federation (FIS) rules. All entry fees are non-refundable and the organisation retains the right to refuse entry to anyone declaring false information on their entry form, not making the required payment, or otherwise failing to meet the stated entry requirements. When registering to the event, you agree to these General Terms and Conditions and to our Privacy Policy. Please read them carefully.
Terms and Conditions
General terms and conditions for all participants in La Venosta
Registration
– After submitting your data at the online registration, the registration is conclusive.
– To enter an event, you must be 18 years of age or older on the event day.
– An option to choose start group may be available during the online registration. If so, to enter the elite group it requires a valid FIS-code.
– Change of name is possible at a fee of 30 EUR. It is not allowed to let someone else participate in your name.
– Paid fees will not be reimbursed if the participant is unable to start.
– 50% of the entry fee will be reimbursed if the local race organisation has to cancel the event more than 24h before start. If cancelation is made less than 24h before start, the organiser will have the right to keep paid fees.
– The athlete notices that La Venosta requires significant physically and technically efforts. For this reason, every competitor, when entering the race, must be personally responsible for declaring to be properly trained and to compete on his/her own risk and releases the OC from every liability regarding accidents before, during or after the event causing damage on third persons and/or their property.
– Every Italian citizen declares to be in possession of a valid medical certificate as foreseen in the rules. This medical certificate has to be uploaded during the registration process or provided at the race office on the day before the race, that is Friday, December 18th, at the latest.
– The OC assumes no responsibility for the participant’s personal belongings.
– Upon entry, the participant consents to the disclosure of personal information to third parties for processing in accordance with the Italian Law no.196/2003 regarding the Protection of Personal data. The subscriber authorises the Organization board to use his/her personal information to send the subscriber promotional material about the race, rankings, photos and anything else related to the event itself.

– Every participant shall be provided with an event bib number, which shall be conspicuously worn on the front during the event.
– The events may have cut off points along the race course where the participants need to pass by in a certain time to be able to continue the race. Information about the cut off times will be given at latest the day before the start.
– Participants must follow instructions as given from all event officials including race staff, volunteers, medical personnel, security officers and city officials throughout the duration of the event.
– Medical and first aid team has the right, if reason, to stop participants from continue the race.
– The event may take place in environmentally sensitive areas. Participants may not litter or damage the environment in which the event takes place in any way. Participants shall dispose their waste items in the containers provided at the start and finish area and feeding stations. If convicted of littering the athlete can be fined and disqualified.
– If the timing chip is not returned after the race, the participant will be charged 50 EUR.
