Reschenseerennen replaces La Venosta

La Venosta in Italy is unfortunately canceled, BUT the Reschenseerennen has been brought to life.

The original plan was to have two events in the region, La Venosta on Saturday, January 15, with the start and finish in Melago and then Reschenseerennen on Sunday, January 16, with the start and finish in Graun im Vinschgau.

This has now been changed, and the Reschenseerennen for Elite skiers has been moved to Saturday, January 15, and extended from 50 km to 75 km. The course will have three laps of 25 km around the lake.

The open public race on the same course will take place on Sunday, January 16, offering a 50 km (2 loops) as well as a shorter 25km distance.

The main reason for the change is that the orgaziners can now offer a good and safe event. Now, the Pro Team athletes and recreational skiers can race separate on the weekend so that safety regulations can be carried out more effectively. The registration for the public race opens soon.

Be part of the 1st edition of the Reschenseerennen! See you in January 2022!
